Family Promise of Moore County (FPMC)
provides shelter, meals and hospitality to homeless families with children through a cooperative network of local congregations.  FPMC offers to these families and other disadvantaged persons comprehensive assistance in the areas of transportation, compassionate supportive services, and advocacy to assist them in achieving their potential of independent living.

Families who are without a home of their own find in FPMC the support, encouragement, and assistance that will enable them to achieve independent living.
Eligibility requirements include:
  • Families with children who are without housing or who will be in the near future.
  • Employed or actively pursuing employment or receiving social security disability.
  • Drug and alcohol free and not suffering from an untreated mental illness.

All families who participate in our program are first screened, and their eligibility determined by the Executive Director and Case Manager.  This will ensure that families who enter the program have the best chance in achieving independence.
